The MEI monitoring Data Logger is a device IoT Data Acquisition (DAQ) Developed on microcontroller platform STM32F4 Cortex-M4, specialized for collecting, processing and transmitting data for environmental monitoring systems, clean water, wastewater, meteorological monitoring and industrial applications requiring high stability and reliability. The device is designed to meet the requirements of 24/7 continuous operation in industrial environments, supporting monitoring of many parameters on the same controller.
Controller is integrated 08 standard Analog Input channels 4–20mA, uses a high-resolution signal conversion circuit, supports Linear Calibration, Digital Filtering, Loop Detection and sensor error monitoring. The device is simultaneously integrated 04 Pulse Counter channels Standalone, supporting high-speed pulse counting from flow meters, water meters, energy meters and pulse sensors, with the ability to store total and instantaneous flow values.
In addition to direct measurement channels, the device supports Expand LoRa network, allows connecting distributed Sensor Nodes to collect data from multiple measurement points without pulling signal cables. Data from LoRa Nodes is received by the Gateway, CRC checked, time synchronized and stored with data of local channels.
Equipment used modem 4G LTE to connect to the Internet and transmit data to the platform MEI ECO through protocol MQTT, supports Keep Alive mechanism, automatic reconnection (Auto Reconnect), checks network status and transmits data periodically or by event. Controller support Continuous Mode for applications that require constant updates and Low Power Mode, in which the STM32F4 controls the peripherals and 4G modem to operate periodically to reduce energy consumption for battery or solar-powered stations.
To ensure data integrity, the device integrates Offline Data Logging uses Flash and external memory, capable of storing data with cycles Every 15 minutes for up to 120 days. When the Internet connection or server is lost, the data is still fully saved according to the timestamp (Timestamp). Once the connection is restored, the system will automatically synchronize missing data in the correct chronological order, ensuring no loss of monitoring data.
All operating parameters such as sampling period, data transfer period, calibration coefficient, alarm threshold, device address, I/O configuration and operating schedule can be Remote configuration on Web/App platform. Support equipment Firmware Over-The-Air (OTA) online 4G, allowing remote firmware updates, feature additions and bug fixes without needing to go on site.
Platform MEI ECO Supports real-time Dashboard, trend charts, Alarm Log, Event Log, management of multiple monitoring stations, user authorization, Push Notification when the parameter exceeds the threshold or the device has a problem, at the same time Export Excel report, meets the requirements for monitoring, management and data storage in modern monitoring systems.
