ATS MEI cabinet monitoring system is a kit IoT Data Logger Developed on microcontroller platform STM32, specialized for monitoring environmental conditions and safety status of ATS electrical cabinets, RMU cabinets, control cabinets and distribution cabinets in industrial electrical systems. Equipment used 4G LTE connection to transmit real-time data to the platform MEI ECO through protocol MQTT, allowing centralized monitoring on Web/App without depending on LAN infrastructure.
Device with integrated sensor temperature, humidity and sensors magnetic (Magnetic Door Sensor) to monitor the cabinet door opening/closing status. Microcontroller STM32 Perform configured sampling cycles, process sensor data, filter noise, check communication status and time stamp (Timestamp) before transmitting data to the server. For cabinet door signals, the system uses a state change detection mechanism (Edge Detection), allowing to record and send warnings as soon as the cabinet door is opened without having to wait for the periodic data sending cycle.
Support equipment two operating modes includes Continuous Mode, in which data is continuously updated for real-time monitoring, and Low Power Mode, uses STM32's Sleep modes to reduce energy consumption, only activating the sensor and 4G modem according to the installation cycle or when an event arises such as opening a cabinet door, exceeding a temperature or humidity threshold.
The system allows configuration of sampling cycle, data transmission cycle, and warning threshold High/Low for temperature and humidity, alarm delay and alarm trigger conditions. When detecting that the cabinet door is opened illegally, the temperature or humidity exceeds the threshold, the power is lost or the device connection is lost, the system will automatically create Alarm Event, log the event and submit Push Notification to the Web/App platform in real time for operators to promptly handle.
To ensure data integrity, the device integrates Offline Data Logging Uses Flash/EEPROM, allowing all data and events to be saved when network connection is lost. After the 4G connection is restored, the device automatically synchronizes the missing data to the server in the correct chronological order, ensuring no loss of monitoring data.
Platform MEI ECO Supports centralized management of multiple ATS cabinets on the same system, real-time Dashboard display, temperature and humidity trend charts, cabinet door opening/closing history, Alarm Log, user authorization at multiple levels and Export Excel report in the form of data tables and charts, meeting the requirements for monitoring, protecting and managing electrical infrastructure in factories, power stations and industrial parks.
